Wreaths Across America grew from a private effort begun in 1992, to a nation-wide charity that Remembers our veterans, Honors those who serve, and Teaches our children the value of freedom.

Why We Do It
We understand we have Veterans Day in the fall and Memorial Day in the spring, but our service members sacrifice their time and safety every single day of the year to preserve our freedoms.
In many homes, there is an empty seat for one who is serving or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. There is no better time to express our appreciation than during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. We hope you will join us at Camp Nelson or at any of the more than 1,600+ participating locations to show our veterans and their families that we will not forget. We will never forget.
As part of our mission to Honor our currently serving service members and their families, Wreaths Camp Nelson is proud to partner with Friends of Lexington, KY Fisher House to help support The Fisher House on the Leestown Road campus of the VA Medical Center in Lexington. To learn more, click HERE.
Wreaths Across America receives no government funding to support our mission. Each wreath is sponsored by individuals, organizations, or businesses. Each $17 tax-deductible sponsorship places one wreath on a veteran’s grave.
